Jeremy Deller
Jeremy Deller began the Acid Brass collaboration with the Williams Fairey Brass Band in 1997, blending traditional brass band music with acid house and Detroit techno — a project that has toured for over two decades without losing its bite.
Educated at Dulwich College and the Courtauld Institute of Art, Deller went on to an MA in Art History at the University of Sussex, and exhibited at EASTinternational in 1995 before returning in 2006 to help select the same exhibition alongside Dirk Snauwaert.

Hosts in Beaminster, Dorset
Tony and Margaret Greenham
Tony and Margaret have hosted the Fairey Band in Beaminster, Dorset, since the band’s first concert in the town’s Parish Church in 1979 — one of the longest-running relationships between the band and any community it visits.
The connection began in 1977, when the Greenhams hosted band members after a concert in Crewkerne and struck up a friendship with bass player Cliff Colwell. Visits back to Stockport to hear the band followed, and on Colwell’s suggestion, the Greenhams persuaded Musical Director Walter Hargreaves to bring the band to Beaminster, with a first concert set for 22 September 1979.
